instant gratification�s done me wrong
Sometimes waiting, holding out for something your heart truly desires, being patient in the knowledge [or hope] that in time it will come to you.. sometimes that�s wiser than taking the shiny yet ultimately unsatisfying prize that is dangled before your tired, greedy eyes.
Sometimes that little nagging voice in the back of your mind that urges you to wait is worth listening to.
Because there�s nothing quite as disappointing as finding perfection and knowing it could have been yours if you had only listened, only waited.
And there�s nothing that grates as much as that little voice in the back of your mind saying, �It�s your own damn fault. Really. You knew all along. Now you�ll have to take the long road and struggle.. for something you could have had so easily.�
